Mostly garbage. I was unfortunate to interview with someone who worked there for a long time and thinks she knows it all.. Knows nothing of how hard working with developmentally disabled seniors is but thinks I didn't do my job while I was working 24/7 community support. I wasn't fired at my last job. I left because they had people sleeping on shifts that I was unfortunate enough to witness. Just another in-person interview wasting my time.. They would rather have High School kids to work FT and burn out. Wash.Rinse.Repeat. I had experience and a referral (name) of someone who works there who told me "they are always looking". One month training classes and another starting the following month. Made me wonder.. They are chronically understaffed on-purpose: It's all a money game.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What mistakes have you made and how did you respond?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Wesley Community (Saratoga Springs, NY) in Feb 2016
Interview
They outsource HR to an outfit in Rochester, NY. The phone interviewer asks few questions; more concerned with time/dates of work rather than education and experience. Quick and snippy questions and answers. The rep didn't even allow much time to properly answer. Too short to make a judgement. Overworked or unhappy with the job?
