      PR Employee Interview

      13 Nov 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Santa Monica, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Wonderful Company (Santa Monica, CA) in Nov 2015

      Interview

I was approached by an HR person over LinkedIn. We messaged back and forth to schedule a call. She missed the first appointment completely. When I tried calling the next day, it was clear that the person had no real direction in finding a good candidate for the position she reached out to me about. She was haphazard, all over the place not remembering what position she reached out to me about. She seemed to have not glanced at my background until the call when we both decided the fit wasn't right due to the salary being far below was I was making at my current job. Overall a HUGE turnoff to the company. The salary was really wearing terms of industry standards. The worst was that she couldn't remember reaching out to me or scheduling the phone interview the day prior. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. She really told me nothing of value about the company or what it is like to work there.

Thanks for your candor here. I would love to address this issue immediately. Every conversation with great talent in the marketplace is a glimpse into our brand - and your experience is NOT the brand of The Wonderful Company. Can you send me an email so we can set up time to talk live? I promise not to miss the call (like in your experience above). Thanks!
