I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Woodbury, MN) in Nov 2012
Interview
Prior to the interview , you fill out an application that is front-to-back, 4 single pages. Not a hard process. Then you wait for them to contact you. I got contacted right away in the fall, because they needed people, and that's a good time to start with them, but you can apply anytime of the year, because they always need people. Then the interview was casual, and pleasant.
