      IT Support Specialist Interview

      29 Mar 2009
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Philadelphia, PA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Philadelphia, PA) in Feb 2009

      Interview

The initial one on one interview was conducted at the place of the recruiter and then the follow-up interview was conducted at the company's headquarters both in Center City Philadelphia. The first one was a basic question and answer plus describing portions of the position requirements. The second one was more of a personality and skills test. I enjoyed the overall work culture and the small group of people they introduced me to along the way. My best advice to other candidates is to make sure you have done some research and be yourself since they focused on personality and potential management style conflicts. The position entailed a great amount of independence and involved a lot of local travel.
