I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Hanover, MA) in Jun 2011
Interview
The interview was very relaxed and in a group setting. People would take turns answering questions and responding to the interviewers. This made the mood and tension very relaxed. There were several rounds of people. (For example I was in the second round out of maybe five or six that day) The group was interviewed by three people, camp director, assistant camp director, and one of the lead counselors. Overall great experience during the interview.

Group interview with other canidates and panelists. Mostly get to know you style and situtational tasks. You will be interviewing alongside other canidadtes so make sure you stand out and seem unique. Howeer don;t overdo it and remain humble and willing to learn.
Fairly relaxed, standard questions related to your interest and experience with early childhood education. They didn't really go over my resume- many workers were in high school, so their expectations likely weren't high.
