I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thinkific in Oct 2021
Interview
The interview had 3 rounds, they had an initial screening round, where they talk about your last 2 roles and the initiatives you took, discuss salary in the end. If you fall in the range and they like you, you will be given an assignment on Full Stack Development with a starter kit built-in NextJS and Prisma and given 7 days to work on that. Post the assignment submission, your assignment will be checked in depth by the engineers, the assignment quality should be perfect if you want to make it to the last round, they don't compromise on the code quality and other factors.
If you make the cut, you will be communicated about the final interview which will be a topgrading round, where they will be going through your entire work history and the positive and negative points about all those roles and talk about your managers and what would they say about you. They will also discuss and give feedback on the assignment you submitted.
What to expect in both the interview rounds would be shared by the HR during your interview scheduling, they have got medium articles on what to expect.
If you make it through, you will be shared the offer and asked for references from your last companies.
They take the reference check round very seriously, and they have got a platform where you invite your references to give reviews about you. You must provide 3 references for the platform and another reference(your most recent manager) would be communicated via a phone call(which lasted like 40-45minutes), and others get the questions via the platform mentioned above.
If everything is positive you will get a final offer.
The team was very supportive in terms of adapting to my requirements, whether I needed to shift the interview to an earlier date, or any problems faced while providing the references.
