I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Thinkproject (Reading, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
I recently experienced a highly fragmented and disappointing recruitment process with thinkproject.
Two separate recruiters contacted me independently—via LinkedIn and email—regarding different roles (UK and Dubai). Both conversations were positive, with strong alignment confirmed on both sides and clear feedback that my profile was a strong fit.
I was then asked to provide detailed follow-up responses, which I completed promptly.
At that point, the process stalled entirely.
No introduction to a hiring manager. No clarity on next steps. No communication.
This level of disorganisation reflects poorly on what is presented as an ambitious and growing company. Recruitment is not a peripheral function - it is a direct reflection of internal alignment, communication standards, and overall professionalism.
Having worked with organisations significantly larger in both scale and structure, I can say this: if a company cannot invest in a coherent and respectful hiring process, it inevitably reflects deeper operational issues.
A disappointing experience, and one that I would advise other ConTech sales professionals to approach with caution or avoid if you can to not waste your time and energy.
I initially had a conversation with HR followed with an interview with the hiring manager. Overall the discussion was relaxed and friendly. I did not get the job as I was not a very good fit (I have a Marketing Automation background)
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Thinkproject in Dec 2024
Interview
