      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at ThousandEyes (San Francisco, CA) in May 2017

      Interview

I was reached out by the CTO and had a phone interview with him. Then I was given a design challenge that I had to complete in a week. After I submitted, I heard back the next day that they liked my design and that they want to fly me out for an onsite interview. The design challenge and onsite interview heavily conflicted with my schedule, so I had to postpone them for awhile but they were understanding and respectful of my timeline. During onsite, I did one-on-one sessions with several people. They asked me about past experience and some behavioral questions. I was also asked to do a mini design challenge for them to see how my thinking process is like. Overall, I felt the interview process was pretty standard. I liked how everyone at ThousandEyes truly believed in their products. Although I ended up not accepting the offer, I believe in their future success and would recommend ThousandEyes to others.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ThousandEyes in May 2022

      Interview

Contacted by a recruiter. Initial call with hiring manager. I was told I would be moving on and was asked for my availability. I didn't hear anything back for a week. I eventually received a response requesting more times I was available since the original date/times I'd sent in were now passed. It was several more days before we scheduled the second interview. The second interview was a panel presentation to the whole team. Was told I would be moving on and was once more asked for my availability. Another week passed without hearing anything or getting answers to emails. I eventually got an email saying to resubmit my availability once more since the original dates/times were past. Then, later the same day, I got a call saying I was supposed to be in an interview at that time. They hadn't invited me to the interview. Managed to re-schedule the interview, a whiteboard exercise. I went through the exercise with several members of the team. I didn't hear anything for several days and my emails were going unanswered. I assumed I didn't get the job. I did, several days later, get a response saying I was not getting an offer, but no feedback was offered. The process took over a month mostly because of the scheduling issues.

Phonecall and then Design Exercise. Stay away from this company they are just fishing design work. They have the dribbble fever, asked for a UX Designer when they are only interested in eye candy.
