Phone interview with recruiter, followed a week later with a phone call with hiring manager, who brought me onsite for an interview. I met with the hiring manager, another PM, and two other higher-ups. Overall, lots of good conversation, shared experiences and discussion of data analytics. About two weeks later, they had me back for another round with three people in associated departments (client services, technology, etc). More positive interactions. And then...crickets. After three weeks, I emailed the HR contact, who said they were hiring a new GM and the role was being potentially reconsidered; he’d be in touch. I never heard from them after that despite a few attempts. Seemed like there was level of flux in that business unit but the people I met were smart and committed, even though their HR communication was poor. It would have been nice to get an official “no”. The whole process lasted about 3 months.
