I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ticketmaster (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
Had a direct referral who was absolutely amazing in his honesty and situation of the company, turnover rate, mobility, pace, etc. His team was more b2b focused, so it wasn't a match for me, but he put me in touch with another team that was consumer-facing. I then had a call with an internal recruiter who was late and later texted, "Can you call back later?" which was rather nonchalant without any reason or apology. She then called and explained she had to put out a fire, so we rescheduled for that afternoon. She was 20 minutes late this time, but at least we finally connected. I told her I was interested in the fan marketplace team and she said she'd schedule a call with someone from that team. I followed up a week later and she said, "Next steps would be a phone call..." 🙄. So I sent her my availability. After another week of silence I followed up, but no response. Then four days later my initial referral contacted me saying he knew what was up. Apparently he had to ask his boss to get on the recruiter. After that she finally called again (no apology) and said the team I was interested in was looking for someone more junior. Needless to say, this was by far the worst experience I've had.

I applied online. I interviewed at Ticketmaster (London, England) in May 2026
Interview
It was an initial interview with a Hiring Manager.
Was asked broad questions around why Ticketmaster, my experience, AI use etc.
I had the interview and a month later no one had responded to me in any way.
I am not salty I did not get the job (clearly if they don't get back within a month) - but I am upset that I took the time to apply, prepare and then interview and had no communication from them.
It felt like this is one of those ghost jobs that they have up so they can look like they are hiring in front of investors, when in reality they have 0 ambition to hire.
