      Application

      I interviewed at TikTok (Singapore)

      Interview

I applied for this role and was contacted by the first Talent Acquisition (TA) representative fairly quickly. The process initially went smoothly—she kept me updated and later informed me that I wouldn’t need to complete the final interview round due to positive feedback from the previous rounds. However, after being handed over to another TA representative, the experience became less seamless. Initially, I was informed that this role was based in Singapore, and my expected salary discussions were in SGD. However, later in the process, I was told that due to changes in work pass requirements, the role would now be based in Malaysia. This was unexpected, as neither I nor my interviewers had been made aware of this change earlier. Following this, I was asked to submit documents for a salary review, which I did promptly. While I was initially told to expect an update soon, I did not receive any response. After multiple follow-ups over the next several weeks, I finally received a response stating that many team members were on leave, causing delays. More time passed without updates, and after another follow-up, I was finally contacted via WhatsApp for a phone discussion regarding the offer. After nearly two months of waiting and multiple follow-ups, I received an official offer letter—however, I was only given three days to decide. While I appreciated the opportunity, I believe there is room for improvement in the communication and transparency of the hiring process to ensure a smoother experience for candidates.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at TikTok (Dublin, Dublin) in May 2022

      Interview

Applied, 3 weeks later I received an email asking me to the first interview, stages went as followed: Stage 1 - Met with 1 person from recruitment. Stage 2 - Met with another trainer for a peer interview. Stage 3 - Met with the manager and the previous trainer and delivered a presentation on a topic they’d given me. Stage 4 - Last round was with with the training HRBP. Took about 3 weeks to first hear back, then the 4 stages happened over the course of 3 weeks. Pretty great for updates, usually contacting me within 24 hours unless it fell over the weekend.

      Product Trainer Interview

      15 Oct 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at TikTok (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2020

      Interview

Step 1: interview with recruiter Step 2: interview with another trainer and presentation Step 3: Interview with hiring manager Interview process was very fast. They give you the impression that they need people immediately. The final process was not as fast as the interview process, the recruiter suddenly ghosted me. Not a single email responded, messages in Linkedin were only read and not responded. Up until now there is no information if they need the person or not, communication was very very poor. It shows how messy the organization is and how unprofessional they are.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Situational based question. Experience in developing training and what to do when facing difficulties in class. There were few personal question as well, like what bring you to the country that I am currently living. Overall it was quite informal and relaxing.
