I had only one phone interview with somebody with the title "Contractor" Scheduled for 30 minutes, but was only 15 minutes. Based on my extensive experience and validated by a coach, my resume matched all the skills and experience required for the position. However, the interview was brief, and the person on the other end sounded bored and uninterested, trying to hang up the call as soon as possible. I didn't have interaction with anybody in Spanish. I think Toast is losing great people, only for not digging deeply. I speak English, but maybe I didn't pronounce some words very well. But taking into account Toast’s diversity and inclusion policy, I believe the interview lacked more depth.
