I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tom's Metal Specialists (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
Called first, then face to face interview in the office.
The interview is very unprofessionally done. You don't need to do any preparation because none of those will work in this interview.
First asked you to write something so that testing you indeed know how to write in English. Then talked to you in Chinese and you respond in chinese to test your Chinese.

Question 1
Are you planing to go back to China in the next coming years?
Three rounds of interview, from HR to Project Manager to the President. General Behavioral questions and some technical questions were asked. This role is an entry level position so the expectation is not too high.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tom's Metal Specialists
Interview
Hiring engineers for cheap, expected to work 12 hours a day 6 days a week for 29K/year with no overtime pay in the city of San Francisco. I almost laughed out lot when I heard the interviewer. He will throw all of the perks to you and expect you to believe that you'll be making 65K (which is the average rate) in a few years IF you seem to fit the company well and can work well. Please, put some faith in your employees and offer something at least reasonable. I see their job postings on various sites frequently so I assume their turn-over rate must be very high. Only consider this job as your last resort.
