**INTERVIEW WAS CANCELLED HALFWAY AND DIDN'T HEAR BACK TIL LATER**
I applied the position as UX designer and had a phone screen with their recruiter. A few weeks later, the recruiter called back and mentioned that the team was interested to meet me. However, the job was changed to UX Generalist and they were updating the job descriptions. I received the job descriptions a few days before the on-site interview. I was told that the interview was 2.5 hour long and would meet 5 interviewers. On the day of the interview, I met with only one interviewer. She and I chatted our background and asked me two scenarios questions. The conversation lasted about 15 mins and she then told me to wait for the next interviewers. I waited 15 min in the conference room until the recruiter showed up and told me that the interview needed to be canceled due to their emergency meeting and will reschedule the week after.
The team didn't get back to me till two weeks later and told me that they decided to move on with other candidates.
This is truly UNPROFESSIONAL and the team didn't seem to know what they are looking for in this role. They should respect candidates time and complete the interview properly as candidates are also taking their time off to the interview. I STRONGLY suggest a phone interview should be done before brining candidates on-site.
