Overall, it was a very positive experience interviewing with the team. I really appreciated the opportunity to meet everyone and get a better understanding of the company culture from the very beginning of the interview process.

Question 1
Tell them about your background and experience in HR.
What are your overall achievements, especially in HR?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tomorrowland (Belgium) (Antwerp) in Feb 2025
Interview
A relatively normal process until the end, then it got kinda weird.
1. HR interview from the Head of Development.
2. Technical interview with two engineers.
3. Culture interview with someone from HR.
4. Psychoanalysis and logic online test.
5. Ghosted after saying "we'll get back to you very soon!", despite follow up emails.
Absolute time wasters, I do not recommend applying here. Be straightforward and reject people instead of stringing them along for weeks.

How would you optimise a full stack application fetching lots of data?
How would you handle a ticket queue with millions of users?
Would you use WebSockets, long polling or SSE to handle this? Explain the tradeoffs.
- Een eerste gesprek met HR (deze persoon had bij mij zelf geen theoretische kennis van de vacature). Deze persoon wist niet dat de master die ik behaalde in het jobgebied lag van de vacature waar ik voor solliciteerde... Het vertrouwen was dus weg.
- Een tweede gesprek met iemand van het team
- Verdere vervolggesprekken onder andere manager, CEO
