I applied online. I interviewed at Tophatter in Jun 2019
Interview
Initial phone screen, then a relatively simple 1 hour technical interview, followed by a 4 hour on site interview with multiple members of the engineering team and 1 member of the leadership team.
The interview process was well done. Each examiner was very clear and open to questions. Overall, I had a good experience, but didn't end up accepting any offer do to another offer.

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tophatter (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2020
Interview
Take-home challenge, 4 onsite rounds (bug squash, code cleanup, full-stack project and behavioral). Overall, interviewers are supportive and able to provide helpful hints when I got stuck. Communicating thought process is key and I think that's what they value the most.
One technical design question, then 15 minutes to ask questions about the company. The interviewer was really nice and helped along the way in case anything was unclear or confusing. Also provided test cases.
