Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We truly appreciate hearing from candidates, as it helps us continue to improve our processes and maintain transparency.
At TQC Team, we take great pride in our training program, which has a proven track record of helping individuals—particularly recent graduates without prior recruiting experience—quickly develop into highly capable recruiters. Beyond that, we genuinely care about getting to know our team members and candidates as people, not just as applicants. This is why we are genuinely curious about candidates' life stories and who they are beyond their resumes and skillsets. We strongly believe that the technical aspects of the job can be taught when both sides are committed to growth, but each individual brings something unique to the team. While we understand that this approach may not work for everyone, other candidates have expressed that they value the personal nature of our process, as it makes them feel heard and appreciated. We’re sorry to hear that this wasn’t a suitable approach for you.
Regarding your comment about being declined for a quality not relevant to the job, we would like to clarify that we do not decline candidates based on unrelated skills. Several core skills—such as computer proficiency—are required upfront for the role. In your case, if we recall correctly, a particular skillset you highlighted during the interviews caught our attention and prompted us to explore an alternative direction beyond the role you initially applied for. As part of this process, we requested examples of your academic work to help us make a well-informed decision. Unfortunately, since you weren’t able to provide those samples, the process took longer than usual, as we wanted to ensure we thoroughly explored all potential fits before making a final decision. While we ultimately weren’t able to move forward, we truly appreciate the time and effort you invested throughout the process.
Lastly, we recognize that the recruitment process can be time-consuming, but our intention is always to be thorough and find the best match. We understand that the decision-making timeline may have felt extended in this case, and we’ll take your feedback into consideration to ensure a smoother experience in the future.
Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
