I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Touch 'n Go (Kuala Lumpur) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was conducted effectively, and I found the interviewer to be courteous and professional. However, I encountered difficulties during the hiring process, as my requests for follow-up and updates went unanswered. I did not receive any communication regarding the status of my application.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Touch 'n Go

Worst Interview Experience I’ve Had
Interviewed for a Product Manager role at Touch 'n Go Group through an internal referral.
Honestly one of the worst candidate experiences I’ve had professionally.
After my referral was submitted, there was no response initially. After a follow-up, I was told I had already been contacted previously, which wasn’t true. Communication only came later.
Two separate interview calls were then scheduled with the recruiter. Both times, I rearranged my work schedule and waited for the calls, but there were no calls, no prior notice, and no proactive updates. I had to follow up myself each time.
I understand unexpected situations or workload issues can happen, but repeatedly missing scheduled interviews without communication shows a serious lack of professionalism and respect for candidates’ time.
Very disappointing experience, especially coming from a well-known corporate company.
