I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toyota Motor Corporation (Watford, East of England, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
Interview was based at a hotel, there was 80 people invited and 60 of which had turned up. So if you get the job you are expected to stay till the end of the day 9-5 and if your not successful through out the day when carrying out tasks they let you go.
First of all the first bit was introducing yourself in a room of 60 people.
After that they got rid of 20 people straight away, everyone who had difficulty speaking English as their first language.
There was 5 managers from the Hertfordshire are who were looking for staff.
The next exercise was to build a tower as a team.
We then went on break once we came back all the managers had gone to another room, we then was told there is only 8 positions available!!! Which was really annoying because at the start they had said there are alot of jobs going so there may be something for eveyone.
So we had to do a maths test which was difficult because it was talking about rates and percentages, after that we done a activity to get to know eveyone just to do something whilst people was going out and having a 1-1 interview with the managers.
The 1-1 interview was a 1 min interview where you speak about yourself hobbies ect but cannot relate it to work or past work experiences, strictly just talk about your life.
After having lunch they approached about another 40 people me being one of them and I was told I was not successful because of the maths test.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Toyota Motor Corporation (Buckhannon, WV) in Nov 2022
Interview
Interview took a long time but interviewers were good. They mainly only hire for consultants went the next sales class is coming up. Also there is a math assessment that goes along with the interview.
