The interview was an hour long but poorly organized. It was unlike any other job interview that I have done recently; the questions were highly theoretical, almost like I am interviewing for a research position. The interviewer spent 30 minutes digging into the fine technical differences between of the different networking protocols no mention of how this is relevant to the position I was applying for. I managed to answer some of the questions, but not all. I was then given a random JSON with little to no context or documentation and asked to design a database schema. I was partly successful in this task. In the end, since I had an existing job, I told them that I do not wish to proceed with my application because I do not think they are a good match.
