The job offer asked for 3 simple things, strong C++ and Java and some basic Python. After sending my CV I got an email asking 10 different questions related to my experience in the software lifecycle, some questions about the languages said above, and an AWS question. After that, I had to solve 3 HackeRank problems. I got an interview after that which was meant to be with 5 members of TransUnion and/or Neustar.
So remember that the interview was meant for a Full Stack Developer, I was asked how much I knew about Python, IA, Machine Learning, Big Data, Sparks, GCP, and Vue. This was literally nothing related not even mentioned in the job description or the questions I received. The Job description asked for strong Java and they only asked me about 2 Springboot components. Also strong C++, which wasn't even mentioned on the interview, and Python which was the "basic knowledge" language was probably the one more asked for.
A couple of days passed and I received a rejection email for a Python, SQL, and Cloud AWS or GCP Analyst position. position for which I didn't even apply. I checked workday and my Full Stack Developer application is still active, so I sent an email to the recruiter asking to clarify the confusion and explain to me what happened so I can at least understand. I didn't even get an answer; I just got another email rejecting me for the Full Stack Position.
Terrible process, everything was confusing, and nothing related to the job description was similar to the interview.
