      Social Media Manager Interview

      9 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Schenectady, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Transfinder (Schenectady, NY) in Oct 2025

      Interview

The employees were friendly, but almost seemed like they didn't know what they wanted from the Social Media Manager. They had unrealistic expectations set in the job description, then had different ideas to discuss during the interview. The process was also supposed to be two total interviews and wound up being four, asking me to meet additional team members and even the CEO (who was nice enough but not someone I'd want to work for).

      Question 2
