Interview
Typical screening call, asked questions about design process, past experiences, etc. Asked about handling feedback, challenging work experiences, why I am interested in the role, etc. Interviewer was polite. Call was around 10 minutes.

Interview
I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing encounter with Trends International's interview process. With a staggering 1500 applicants vying for a chance, I, along with countless others, eagerly anticipated the opportunity to showcase our potential. However, my optimism quickly turned to frustration when, just days before the scheduled interview, I received a notification of its cancellation. The lack of regard for candidates' time, preparation, and aspirations is disheartening, to say the least. The absence of a reasonable explanation or even the courtesy of an alternative arrangement reflects poorly on Trends International's professionalism and respect for potential team members. It is my hope that my review will serve as a warning to future job seekers, urging them to consider whether Trends International truly values its applicants. Such a dismissive approach to the interview process raises questions about the work culture and organizational competence within the company. As someone who invested time and enthusiasm into this opportunity, I encourage others to weigh the potential frustration against the slim chance of a respectful and well-handled interview process with Trends International.

We are happy to address these concerns. This role had been filled and that was the reason for cancelling the remaining interviews. Candidates were notified of this explanation. We sincerely value our candidates' time and it is for this reason we removed the remaining interviews from the calendar as to not have applicants spend time and energy on an unnecessary interview. We feel strongly this was the respectful approach as to not waste candidates' time. If you have other concerns please feel free to contact us directly so we can receive an evaluate all feedback.
