Talked with an in-house recruiter and then someone who I assume was the hiring manager. She never introduced herself so I'm not sure who she was. I was preparing to send an email requesting that they revoke my resume today but they reached out to me first.
Like I said, my interviewer never introduced herself or let me know who she was in the company. All she told me was that she had worked there 3 years and it was a "dream job". Never said her name, never asked for my name. I thought that was incredibly unprofessional and I had already decided in the first 3 minutes of the interview that I didn't want to work with TreviPay.
Other than that it was a basic, very easy interview. The interviewer gave a little background, asked for my background, and asked me if I had any questions. It wasn't difficult, but, it was also incredibly obvious that the interview was not actually interested in hiring me. It was clear that she had made up her mind and wanted someone else and she was interviewing me as a courtesy. I will say, the interviewer was a very nice person. She wasn't rude or mean but I could tell early on... based on the lack of introduction... that she was not interested in me. That did come off as unprofessional. I've been involved with plenty of interviews and I've never had someone not introduce themselves and state their position within the company. I've also never been in an interview where I wasn't asked to state my name.
