      Backend Software Engineer Interview

      25 Oct 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Trifacta in Oct 2017

      Interview

I first had a call with a coding exercise by one of their engineers, that one went well (sorting and flatten a list of already sorted lists), then a week later as a technical interview I needed to solve a coding task that I didn't finish completely but I was on the right track (some DFS approach to filling "blank" spaces in a canvas with figures), apparently is only 100% correct solutions or nothing, right after I got an email saying after reviewing my background they'll not move forward on my application. If that was the case I could have been informed from the moment I sent my resume.
