I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Trillium Trading
Interview
Met with the interviewer on campus. The interview consisted of mostly behavioral questions like why trading, do you have experience trading, why your major. But I felt that the interviewer was really easy to get along with and felt that we had a great conversation.
Easy mental math, know indices and prices of them. Be on your toes and be a normal person. Low base salary, not really worth it IMO to be completely honest.
Great stragith forward interview. Very fair and if you keep up with the markets it is not difficult. Review top stock prices and have companies you can talk about. About thirty minutes total
First round they want you to know where major averages are. After that just chat. Next couple rounds are softball basic behavioral (e.g. your strengths and weaknesses) or trading (e.g. fundamental vs technical analysis) questions.
