I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trollbeads (Princeton, NJ) in Feb 2016
Interview
I met with their marketing team based in Princeton, Nj where I probably had the most fascinating and enjoyable interview that I have ever experienced. The company has a rich history and solid product, that as a graphic designer is enticing because you are legitimately building and adding to the brand. I was called back for a second interview but unfortunately didn't get the position but I definitely recommend others to take the opportunity to apply for any role that they post. The team honestly seemed awesome.

Question 1
They asked if I was comfortable with a mix of really fun creative projects like pitching swag products for their store mixed with tedious and occasionally mundane tasks like updating product sheets. The duties had a nice balance that I actually appreciate, plus they were honest.

Interview
I saw the job posted on Monster and applied. A few weeks later I heard from a woman at their Princeton office. They did not have any kind of formal HR person, it was actually a girl from E-Commerce and she told me that they were only interviewing one other person. They told me that, even though I would technically be part of the marketing department, I would be needed by just about every department. My interview was very nice. I met the woman from E-Commerce who emailed me and the head of Marketing. They were both kind and welcoming. Very standard questions and they provided lots of explanation about the company and the position. I thought the interview went very well but ultimately did not get the position as they found someone with more experience.
