      Marketing Project Manager Interview

      I interviewed at Trove Brands

      Interview

There was a phone call and then two virtual interviews. The interviewer seemed cold and distant before I really got a chance. I think she had made up her mind and didn't want to talk with me. The Hiring Manager was unresponsive and won't get back to me. The whole thing felt pretty unprofessional. I've talked to a few people and they've had similar experiences when applying for Trove. The actual job may be different but I wouldn't risk it.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Trove Brands in Apr 2026

      Interview

I had a phone screen which went well, although the recruiter never asked for interview availability they just blindly scheduled time which I had to ask them to move because it conflicted with my schedule. The experience that stood out to me though was the panel interview. The team came off as cold and very serious and it seemed like they decided after just one question that they didn't like me. I almost was going to say in the middle of the interview that I was no longer interested, but kept at it to be respectful. The role sounded very stressful and almost as if they're expecting someone with a lot more senior experience than they listed or than the salary range they were budgeting for the role.

      Interview

The interview process was lengthy and frustrating, taking nearly three months to complete three rounds of interviews. I advanced to the final round and was told a decision would be made and communicated the following week. Instead, I received a delayed rejection more than two weeks later via a generic email that provided no feedback. The role was later reposted that day.
