I applied online. I interviewed at Troxler Electronic Labs
Interview
The process took a very long time. Met with many people and a lot of the questions were the same. The top guy (general manager, I think) kept me waiting for over an hour and didn't seem prepared for an interview. I got an offer but the offer was so low I decided to keep looking.

Question 1
How many footballs can you fit in this room. WHAT????
I applied through university. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Troxler Electronic Labs
Interview
I had three separate interview dates set up. The first date I met with an HR rep, 2 junior engineers, and a senior engineer. Took 3 hours. The second interview was setup 3 weeks after the first. I met with the President, General Mgr, and Director of HR. This one took 2 hours. The third interview was setup 3 weeks after the second. I met with the Operations Mgr, the Senior Engineer I met the first interview, and the same General Manager as the previous interview. This interview took another 2 hours.
I was feeling pretty confident in this company until the third interview. In the third interview, the General Mgr didn't remember interviewing me from the last time I was there. He was making up questions on the fly that didn't seem relevant at all to my position or experience. This put a bad taste in my mouth. The Sr. Engineer didn't know why he was scheduled to interview me for a second time (at least he remembered me) so we mostly just small talked and what not. This third day really left me with no confidence in this company - the conversations I had with these people the third day left me feeling very unimpressed as well as the actual plant tour.
After driving about 180 miles total and spending a total of about 7 days onsite, I was at least hoping for a solid offer to justify me spending so much time on them. They eventually left me an offer (3 more weeks after the last interview) via voicemail for 30k?!?!? This was about HALF of the average starting salary for ME grads. I was dumbfounded and very annoyed to say the least. Needless to say, I did not take the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Will you accept a salary of half of what the average graduate will make with your degree?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Troxler Electronic Labs in Jun 2010
Interview
If you pass the brief phone screen, you are brought in to two days of interviews with your direct supervisor, managers you will work with, HR, and the general manager. Be prepared for questions like: "How many widgets will fit in this room?" and other on-your-feet thinking. If you get a tour, pay close attention to the employees.
