I applied online. I interviewed at Troyer foods (Indianapolis, IN) in Jul 2020
Interview
Hoping to post this to help the next DSR candidate to bring some clarity to the table. Vigorous interview process. Total of 5 interactions between phone, web, and in person during the interviewing process. Professional sales questions are asked and the company likes if you do your research about them and ask related questions. You are basically selling yourself and why you would be a great fit for Troyer. During interview #2 I was asked about my salary requirements. I gave those and said with some room to spare. Nothing was ever said to me that my requirements were too high. At the final offer meeting the company presented an offer that was way below my asking salary. While Troyer does provide really nice sales amenities like a car allowance, phone, computer, and credit card for expenses, unfortunately we could not come to a salary agreement and parted ways. It was extremely disappointing because I worked hard at the interviews and was excited about the position. Management: be a little more clear and upfront with your serious candidates about salary range. It will save a lot of time a resources.
