Very unprofessional. No communication after the onsite interview. If their work culture is like their interview process, i am glad to be not working there. I do not recommend working or even applying to censio.
It’s important to us to get back to all candidates, regardless of whether we are extending an offer or not. I’m truly sorry that you feel we’ve not given you that experience. I’d love to discuss your experience more, if you feel it warrants a conversation. I welcome a phone call to hear your side of things. And we would be able to give you more detail from our side of things and why we did not extend an offer..
Negative experience
Easy interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TrueMotion (Boston, MA) in Apr 2016
Interview
I had one round of phone interview, next Skype interview and then the day long project which they I read in earlier posts. I was given a 6 hour window to complete and I completed in approx 4 hours. I answered all their questions and overall I thought I gave my best interview. However, today I receive email saying I wasn't best fit. This is not a specific answer after coming this far in interview process. I should have read the reviews and not apply to this position. This is total BS. Waste of time and energy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Go through the code and thought process. Explain the code one by one.
Thanks for further sharing your experience, and I’m sorry you feel it was negative. As per my emails with you, we can discuss any other details about your interview over the phone.
For data science, the biggest part is a one day onsite project where you present your solution to a holdout test set, describe your thought process, and work with us so we can both see what it'll be like with each other day in and day out. We go to lunch together so you can chat to some team members and ask open ended questions (which you can also do at the end of the day).
