I was contacted by a headhunter for a position and engaged in several discussions with them, as well as with Trumid. Despite being reassured that my skill set and qualifications aligned well with the role, I was informed 1 minute before a scheduled call with the hiring manager that they would not be moving forward due to a missing piece of experience that had been previously addressed.
Companies should be held accountable for inefficiently utilizing candidates' time in such situations. It would have been considerate for them to make this decision earlier in the process, or simply cancel atleast 1 hour before the interview, rather than prolonging this 3 week process needlessly.
