I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tull Brothers (Frances, IN) in Mar 2025
Interview
I recently interviewed for a web designer role at Tull.io, and I have to say, it was one of the best interview experiences I’ve had so far!
The process started with a friendly and approachable recruiter who set the tone right away. They were quick to schedule the interview and provided a detailed overview of what to expect, which was super helpful. There was a slight delay at the beginning, but they were very transparent about it, so no complaints on that front.
During the first round, I spoke with a senior designer who made me feel comfortable right from the start. It wasn’t just a dry technical interview—there were also thoughtful questions about my design philosophy, and they wanted to know how I approach problem-solving, which I appreciated. We discussed my portfolio in-depth, and they asked specific questions about the projects I had worked on, which gave me an opportunity to explain my design process and what I learned from each project.

Question 1
The one thing they asked me that really stood out was, "Can you walk us through a project where you faced a significant challenge, and how you overcame it?"
It was a great question because it gave me the chance to showcase not only my technical skills but also my problem-solving approach. They weren’t just looking for the end result but wanted to understand my thought process and how I handle obstacles, which is something I truly value in a work environment.
