      Claims Adjuster Interview

      20 Jun 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Scottsdale, AZ
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Turo (Scottsdale, AZ) in Mar 2018

      Interview

4 interviews 1 call with HR REP- 1 call with claims sup 1 rounds of interviews First I got a call from the HR rep who had no idea who she was calling, asked me very sloppy questions- sounded like she was not paying attention to my answers. Then it was followed with a phone call with a claims supervisor who asked me questions about insurance and what if scenarios. Lastly, I had an in-person interview at the Scottsdale location. I was interviewed by 3 people 30 minutes each and they each asked me very strange questions. One started assuming my age and was delighted by the fact that 'more young people' are applying for the position.

      Interview

Spoke to rep over the phone first then moved on to in-person with 2 separate people. A bit intimidating but ok in the end. People I interviewed with ended up being my supervisor and director. Nice people

      Application

      Interview

Very detailed and lengthy. They want to insure that they hire the right people for the job. You start with 2 phone interviews, one from the recruiter, then a manager. You then do an assessment online involving claims scenarios. Then you go for an interview in person. This takes about two hours. You interview with a claims associate, a claims specialist, do another assessment, and then interview with the hiring manager. This seems a very laid back work environment, but they take their work very seriously. It is a company that clearly cares about its employees and wants them to succeed. It also is a company that wants to make sure they hire the right people in a very thorough and involved process.
