I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Turo (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2022
Interview
The interview process might be one of best interview process I have had in awhile. I applied because I use Turo pretty often and saw they had a job opening. The recruiter contacted me a couple of days later. We chat mostly about the company, the culture, the interview process, life, vacation plans, etc. The recruiter was very informative the entire way. I had several rounds of interviews and after each interview, the recruiter would sync with me to get my thoughts as well as providing feedback. I met with the hiring manager, a couple of other staff and senior members of the team. The interviews were pretty straight forward that you would expect for an engineer role.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Turo (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
comprehensive, yet understanding. covers lots of areas of a software engineer like system design, api design, algorithms, behavorial, etc. it was good to have different opportunities to show my skills.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Turo in Sept 2024
Interview
Recruiter reached out and sent a coding challenge. Composed of 5 coding questions you have to answer in 1:15 hr. 3 were simple and 2 were leetcode hard and not doable for the time given. Not worth the time and effort because the questions they provide need more time. I rather go to FAANG.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Turo (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2023
Interview
Very easy going. The process was a chat with a recruiter, a phone screen, and then a virtual onsite that was standard (included system design, another coding round, API design, and a behavioral interview). Team was extremely nice, but did not proceed due to low compensation and level did not fit correctly.
