I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tushy (Portland, OR) in Jul 2023
Interview
I'd rate this interview experience as very poor because after completing the entire interview process I didn't an offer and the reason provided to me was something they could've screened for in the first round. They told me that the team wanted to hire someone located in NY and I would be working from the West Coast, despite their job posting noting that remote work was fine and putting me through three rounds plus a take home assignment. I spent countless hours preparing for interviews, working on the take home project and practicing the presentation. This experience left me feeling very poorly treated and it seems like they don't care about taking advantage of job seeker's time/energy. Process: - Recruiter screen - Hiring manager interview - Interview with COO - Take home challenge consisting of 5 questions (this was very time consuming and each question warranted it's own presentation). - Presentation of challenge round responses. 1 hour to a panel.
