      Customer Success Manager Interview

      14 Feb 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Tutor.com in Jan 2022

      Interview

I did an initial phone screening with someone in a similar role. We had allotted 30 minutes and she spent the first 20 talking about herself and her experience. Questions for me were very vague and I think she had made up her mind that I didn't have the experience they were looking for (in fact she said it). I was looking for an opportunity to prove myself and share what I had done in my current role that prepared me to be a CS professional. Overall, I would say it was a good conversation, but the interviewing could have been improved. I left the conversation feeling like it wasn't going to be a place I'd want to work based on a few things she had said, but was open to learning more. I was disappointed to hearing nothing back after a few weeks and following up multiple times. Certainly some area for improvement in terms of recruiting/interviewing.
