I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Two's Company (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2023
Interview
The interview process is simple, a few small and quick interviews with the sales manager, and a final with HR. The timeline is rather long. They are slow to get back to you.
Pretty nice interview process and very straight forward! The questions were pretty standard and everyone seemed happy to work for the company. I spoke to HR first, then the hiring manager for the team I applied for!
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Two's Company (Elmsford, NY)
Interview
My process began with a phone screen with the HR rep, who communicated that she felt my qualifications were a great fit for the position; therefore we set up a Face-to-Face with the President, Tom Gottlieb. My interview began with him holding up his finger in a “please hold” motion, as he took several minutes to read through my resume. It was obvious that this was the first time he was reviewing my resume, which sent a clear message that despite the fact that I did significant due diligence to prepare, my time was not valued in the least.
It was immediately clear that Tom did not feel my skills were a good fit, and he kicked off the interview with an extremely condescending challenge question regarding my background. Despite this negative start, I decided to use this as a learning experience and continue to be present and engaged for the remainder of the interview.
I followed with the standard professional courtesy of a detailed “Thank you” in writing to both the HR rep and the President. Not surprising, Two’s Company completely ghosted me without even the decency to communicate that they would not be taking next steps. While I believe every interview is an opportunity to grow as a professional, the lesson I gleaned from this was: Bullet=Dodged.
