They were quick to respond to my application and then via email I was given one day with multiple times to select availability for an interview. It was after the interview began that from context clues I gathered the position was likely short term work. Once I asked my interviewer about the longevity of the position, only then did I found out this was contract work. I kindly told my interviewer that that deters my interest in the position as I'm looking for FT, permanent work. They then proceeded to send me the following email: "Thank you for taking the time to apply with us at Tyler Technologies. After careful consideration of your background and experience, we won't be moving forward with your application for the role of Mass Appraisal Trainee at this time. If you've applied for other positions, that's great! Our recruiting team reviews each application separately, so if we think you might be a match for another role, we'll definitely let you know." Like it was them who rejected me, when it was 100% the other way around.
