Really, really bad interview process. Great phone interview, but the in person interview was with someone who told me, verbatim, that "everyone is overworked and underpaid" and kept interrupting me to talk about how great he was. The whole interview was me being asked a question, answering the first sentence or two, then getting interrupted by the person interviewing me only to hear about how hard he works and how he works such long hours. Pretty indicative that this person does not manage his staff well if he's having to put in 13-14 hour days like he claims. 30 minutes in and he's insulting me, talking to me like I'm a child, talked poorly about the job and how easy it was, and belittled me for my resume. After an hour and a half (knowing about 30-40 minutes in it wasn't for me) he came in with an offer $10k less than what was posted and I said "I think we're done here."
If you're reading this, then please take this away: the person interviewing me should not be anywhere near the hiring process.
