I recently had a very frustrating experience with UL's recruitment process. I applied for a senior position at UL and they made me go through four rounds of interviews and two phone calls, which was time-consuming and exhausting. However, the most disappointing part was being ghosted by them after investing so much time and effort in their recruitment process. To add insult to injury, UL didn't bother to review my salary expectations until after the fourth interview. When they finally brought it up, they told me that they couldn't meet my desired salary, which made me question why they didn't bring it up earlier. It seemed like they wasted my time just to tell me that they couldn't afford me, which was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Moreover, when they did offer me a position, it was junior to the one I applied for. I felt like UL had little regard for my skills and years of relevant experience, and that they had taken advantage of me by making me go through such a lengthy recruitment process only to pull a bait and switch. Overall, I had a terrible experience with UL's recruitment process. They wasted my time, did not communicate effectively, and showed a lack of respect for my time and skills. As a job seeker, I would not recommend UL to anyone, and I hope they improve their recruitment process in the future.
