Interview
Go to recruiter office and sign up. conduct back ground check, take medical exam, take ASVAB for job placement and career tract. You will choose a profession based on your test scores, availability, and preference. You may be offered extra activities like airborne or receive signing/contract bonuses. You will then sign a contract and swear in. You will be shipped to basic training where you learn about the military and how to be a outstanding soldier. You will then attend AIT where you learn your job and then you will be shipped to your duty assignment and complete your contract requirements
Not hard at all. The process of joining is fairly easy. Pass your advance or try to get a higher job and look for a job that is transferable to civilian workforce.

Interview
Pretty straight forward. They ask 4-5 scenario questions. Just answer truthfully and know about the organization. They usually have a panel of about 3 to 4 people that will each take turn asking you 1 question. Then they allow you to ask them any questions you want.
