      Quality Control Enumerator Interview

      26 May 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Ishpeming, MI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at US Census Bureau (Ishpeming, MI) in Feb 2010

      Interview

No direct interviews. You take a test with simple questions phrased as "what would you do in this situation?", etc. A practice test was provided on the Census Bureau's website. If you score high enough on the test, then you receive a call and they just ask you if you're interested and then you've got the job.

      Question 1

The only questions that were asked were the ones on the competency test, and they're not difficult at all, especially if you do the practice test online.

      Quality Control Enumerator Interview

      2 May 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Booneville, MS
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Census Bureau (Booneville, MS)

      Interview

Interview process was simple. It was a phone interview consisting of very simple questions. You have to go to a designated place then to take a test that is just common sense and very simple. You then have to go through training that you are paid for. The people were very friendly, courteous and informative.

      Question 1

There wasn't anything difficult about any of it.

      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Census Bureau (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

No interview needed! You just need to take an exam (which they provide practice ones for) and do well enough for them to call you back.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

There was no interview, just an exam to pass. Soo, for those who dread interviews, work for the census the next time it rolls around! The most difficult questions will come from the people whose doors you have to knock on.
