Very complicated and truly is who you know. Everything is funneled through USAJOBS and you have no way of really checking the status. I only had 1 interview and it was great because it was more who i knew and that person had faith in my abilities to be able to do the job.

Fairly straightforward. Questions about basic IT issues, troubleshooting, and other fundamentals of security, networking, and compliance. The questions were more general and not overly technical, though I provided more technical answers about systems and SIEMs.

First Round: Video Meeting with engineer. Questions were similar to a technical phone screen with time for applicant to ask questions at end.
Second Round: Java coding test sent via email. Working solution expected to be sent back within 24 hours.
Third Round: Video Meeting with panel consisting of engineers and manager. Questions were sent an hour prior to meeting.
