USO interview questions

The interview process at USO appeared to be pre-arranged with no genuine intention of hiring the candidate. Considerable time was spent participating in an unnecessarily intimidating phone interview, followed by a virtual interview and a meeting with the hiring manager. Overall, the process felt inefficient and unproductive. Have lost my respect for USO.

The whole thing was unclear: what they were looking for, how they responded, the speed of correspondence. I had cold called them after applying through official channels and not getting even an acknowledgement of the application. They were very kind via email and we set up an interview. But from there, it really didn’t seem like they were ready. I design arts curricula for adults all the time; it’s my wheelhouse. They asked for a sample program and I presented one and left them with two others. No call back, ever.
