phone interview with recruiter went exceptionally well, really thought I had a shot. Never received a phone call back for the face to face interview. I called the recruiter back after 2 weeks she was very pleased and receptive to me calling her, promised to call me back in just a couple of hours, she said they would be doing face to face interviews this coming Friday. I waited all afternoon, she never called me back. I called her back the next day, (I really wanted the opportunity for a face to face interview), only to be told that the interview process had ended for this particular store and the person they had hired was started their training on Monday. Hugh dissappointment, they contacted me through a resume I had posted on monster!

I applied online, and was called to setup a phone interview.. why she didn’t just go ahead and do the phone interview is beyond me... the same person who called to setup the interview, called to conduct the interview... I want to add that the call came in from a California number, from someone who clearly has no idea how things work over here in North Carolina. The entire interview she ate, rattling Paper and chewing so I felt uncomfortable talking over all the noise. It was completely unprofessional. The only reason I didn’t get angry and tell her to forget it is because this was the highest paying position with commission available in my area. I wanted this position more than any of the others I had applied for. After the interview she told me that she would pass my answers along to the local store and they’d contact me back for a 1:1 interview. I received an email several days later saying they had chosen other candidates.
