Based off of graduate application. No interview. The best chance to get the teaching assistant is to have good grades and test scores with excellent recommendations to the graduate program.
Resume and Cover Letter: The committee reviews your resume, cover letter, and possibly your transcripts to assess your qualifications and fit for the role.
Behavioral Questions: Expect questions about how you handle various situations, such as managing student inquiries, dealing with challenging situations, and balancing multiple responsibilities.
In fact, there was no in-person interview for this role. I was given the opportunity after I got admission to the graduate studies program. But, Professor asked me few questions when I was about to start my role.
