      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Uniqlo (Hanoi) in Sept 2018

      Interview

I interviewed for Store Manager Candidate position in Vietnam. It was one of the most horrible and disappointing interview experiences for me. The interview consisted of 2 parts: company seminar and interview session. The company seminar lasted for about one hour in that the COO did a presentation about the company and had other personnels support him during the presentation if necessary. I was disappointed because despite Uniqlo going on and on about how they position themselves in the market, the COO and personnels literally read from the paper while doing presentation. They looked like a group of first year students in their first presentation ever. Some even stumbled. They were clearly unprepared. The whole session permeated an absolutely unprofessional vibe. I talked with some other candidates after the seminar, and it was no surprise that this was the first and foremost thing we mentioned and agreed with each other. After that was the interview session. Each time, 5 of us was called. I was led into a separate room which had 5 different interview booths. So of course, 5 was interviewed at the same time at those booths. I was interviewed by one of the personnels, along with a Vietnamese woman sitting next to him that stayed silent all along. The interview was the epitomy of unprofessionalism. I think before Uniqlo wants to hire good candidates, they should provide training for those interviewers first. They looked like amateurs in that position as interviewers, and it’s not like they are trying to pull a front and act like that to test the candidates, they were pretty much amateurs. After the interview was done, those passed the first round was left waiting for a while then directly went through to the second round interview with higher level personnels.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uniqlo (Pasay, Pasay) in Oct 2019

      Interview

First applicants need to attend the information session. this is like a company background session where in they tell you about the company's products and services and it also mentioned other applicants who've successfully completed the training and are currently managers of specific stores. after this we had an online exam. the interview will be after taking the exam. the interview was brief and concise. they were straight to the point in getting answers they want from the applicants.

      Interview

Great interaction with a recruiter at a school job fair. Received and email with a few basic questions then set up a video interview. Interviewer was not very engaging, asked basic questions. Didn't get a follow up, but I wasn't upset about that.
