I was contacted via email a week after applying. The following day, I had an initial phone screening, then a few days later an in-person interview with two senior team members. After that I completed a take-home task, followed by a final in-person interview/meet and greet.
The team I met were really lovely. I received a voicemail from the talent team at the end of the process asking to catch up. After I tried to arrange it, I never heard back, so I assumed I didn’t get the job. It’s disappointing to go through two in-person interviews and a take-home task and not even be told the outcome. I just guessed because I didn’t hear from them before the weekend. I was also somewhat relieved, because they wanted three days in the office and, although they didn’t explicitly share the pay, I was told what I’d indicated in my application was more than they typically pay. I’d already given myself a £12k+ pay cut compared to my previous job (I knew UO wouldn’t pay a lot to begin with), so in the end it was for the best.
