The process consisted of several interviews: VP Product, VP project, VP R&D, CEO. None of the participants was aware of what the process involved beyond their own interview, always asking me who else I spoke to. The last stage - CEO - was impossible to schedule as 2(!) hr people were unable to get in touch with the CEO for two whole weeks. They were incapable of scheduling the conversation and when I tried to explain that despite the fact that they claim the interview was scheduled, I did not receive any invites, they simply ignored the message. I ended up guessing (!) the CEO's email and reaching him directly. I provided the contact details of three people who could give references as the CEO asked me to do. None of them were contacted and I received an automatic rejection email. The company is in a mess following M&A and is not currently in a position to arrange an orderly interview process.
